Sociology
Sociology examines human social life, focusing on the structures and interactions of groups, organizations, and societies. I chose Sociology as a major because it provides valuable insights into the complexities of social behavior and relationships, equipping me with a framework to analyze and understand societal issues.
For my Senior Thesis research, I am exploring the impacts of alumni mentorship on the college students at Princeton University. I will be conducting qualitative research, developing my own findings, and contributing to the academic literature in the sociology of education.
My Junior Independent Research project explored social media’s influence on equity by examining how the NCAA's Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policy affects endorsement opportunities for female collegiate athletes (see below).
