Summer 2024

During my time with the New York Mets Foundation & Community Engagement Department, I had the opportunity to support a range of initiatives, gaining invaluable hands-on experience with the operations of a professional sports organization. I contributed to player-driven community programs, youth baseball camps, food drives, and the Mets Donation Request Program, all of which highlighted the important role sports teams play in advancing social responsibility.

This internship enhanced my communication, teamwork, and project management skills. I learned to adapt quickly, oversee projects from planning through to execution, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Most importantly, my experience reinforced the powerful impact sports can have in fostering community engagement and supporting meaningful social initiatives.
